The OTHER missing Ohio woman.

Notice she is not young, and perhaps most importantly, she is not white.

I am not discrediting the Jesse Davis story one bit- it is an important news item here in Ohio, but should it get a lion's share of the national coverage? No way, not even close, not until every missing person in this country gets their fair share of face time on all the cable news channels.

I never bought into the "missing white woman" meme before, but I'm starting to change my tune.

I'm sorry that her name hasn't been out there. It's not right.
But we can fix that, at least here at DU! Has her story been sent to the MSM?
I did a google and only one source came up...your blog. (Nice, by the way!)
Did Cleveland MSM say why they haven't picked up on this? :shrug:

Friends and family have been searching for Gloria Walker for more than a month.

She was last seen May 20, when she left her Francis Avenue home in a black 1996 Lumina.

The 46-year-old mother and grandmother was remembered at a rally Sunday at her brother's Clifton Boulevard home.

Her car was found about two weeks after her disappearance. It was parked in the Harvard/Fleet area.

Community activist Judy Martin said, "We need everyone's help to find this lady.

Her family said she is very outgoing, friendly and always willing to give a helping hand to others.

Let's give this family a helping hand."

10. I don't think that it was the race

at least, not entirely.

but the fact that she was very much pregnant and the poignancy of her young son providing clues to her disappearance.
