Glenn Beck to guest host on CNN.

Via Atrios, TV Newser reports that right-wing Headline News anchor Glenn Beck “is getting his first gig on CNN next week — and it’s in Paula Zahn’s spot. Zahn is off next week, so Beck is subbing at 8pm the week of July 2. It’ll be Beck’s first time hosting on the mothership.”

14. Dunno, exactly-might be another iteration of Rove's notion
of attacking your opponent's strength. If you win, there's not much more you have to do.
CNN has little to lose and, given that both POX noise and and CNN's offerings are the antitheses of MSNBC's, it may well backfire and drive some more tortured souls to take a peek at a source of words of reason.

I doubt they'd lose much in the short term, but, with the trends going the way they are and our "voices in the wilderness" not quite so lonely anymore, their experiment might well add to the weight of our arguments.

Under the right conditions, almost anything can add to the forces driving the pendulum back to sanity, so I shouldn't worry very much.

What matters is making sure GOPers stay in charge. There is money to be made if GOPers stay in charge and lots of money to be lost if any other more progressive viewpoint is given a chance to air.
