Report: Gore to attend Live Earth in NJ

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. - Al Gore will rock out at the Live Earth concert at Giants Stadium on July 7, one of eight worldwide shows designed to draw attention to global warming.


"Mr. Gore will be in New Jersey. He'll be off and on (the stage), very involved," said Live Earth Founder and Executive Producer Kevin Wall.

1. I think he wants to keep the focus on global climate change
If he made any other type of announcement he would be roundly condemned as being opportunistic and it would distract from the purpose of the concert.

Believe me, I want him to announce his candidacy. I just don't think this is the venue he would choose.
