http://campaignsandelections.com/oh/articles/?ID=319Rudy Giuliani and Hillary Clinton are running a dead heat in Ohio. According to a Quinnipiac University poll released today, the former Republican mayor of New York City is tied with the former first lady and current U.S. senator from New York in a hypothetical presidential race. Both received 43 percent of support in the latest poll, a change from May 16 when Giuliani led Clinton 47-43 percent.
Giuliani does fare better in Ohio against other Democrats, beating U.S. Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., 42-40 percent in a hypothetical presidential match up.
The one Democrat who tops Rudy in Ohio has not declared his candidacy: former Vice-President Al Gore, who polled 44-43 over Giuliani.
Not bad for an undeclared.
