is not the same as saying I have proof he was correct, but rather, that the ugly treatment he got was for something that was a lot closer to correct than people gave him credit for.

I still think its highly possible that he or his sources were correct, but that a backroom deal preempted that.

It may well be in no way connected with the Fitzgerald investigation as the court dealt with many more cases at the time than just the Plame case but I must say I find this info there are 2 pages of still redacted material in the opinion re-released today and those pages relate to Rove and the area of perjury.

A description of some way that Rove's testimony contradicts Novak's description that Rove promised to declassify the CIA report on Wilson's trip

Yes, there has been a sealed case 06cr00128 styled Sealed v. Sealed on the District Court's docket (available through Pacer) since it was filed on May 17. It says "no further information is available" or something like that. It is still sealed, I've checked several times since then. If my handwritten notes are correct, it's the only District Court criminal case filed between May 9 (case 122) and May 18 (case 131) that remains sealed.
