McCain plans to return to Iraq on Monday.
Here he goes again...

CNN reports, “Normally VIP visits to Iraq are kept under wraps, at least until the day of the trip. But Senator John McCain Friday night said he’s going to Iraq next week.” In April, the last time he visited in Iraq, McCain claimed Americans were “not getting the full picture” of the situation in Iraq. On that same visit, McCain was escorted through a Baghdad market with 100 soldiers, 3 Blackhawk helicopters, and 2 Apache gunships.

I wonder if he will be brave enough to be an army of one....

5. If China can loan us the $$$, then our soldiers have the time!
Oh, and the mothers of America are supplying plenty of "extra people" for this very special mission.

17. It's the opposite of "Love it or Leave it": "Hate it or Stay there!"
If McCain thinks it's such a great place, then he should stay there and retire.

10. He's looking for those damn "Sweets and Flowers" we wre promised.
Either he'll stay in the green zone, or (again) be escorted with Blackhawks and Apaches while wearing a full metal jacket.

What a POS.

12. Um I think they announced in advance so the market workers could go on vacation
Letting people know that McCain is coming will probably save lives.

As I type this, I realize this could sound like I'm making a tasteless, sarcastic joke. But I'm not kidding. The way terrorist minds work, McCain showing up is the sort of thing that will prompt people like this to go out and find somr random person to kill. McCain should know this. Just by showing up, he's egging some of those sick murderers to go out and find another innocent victim. I don't blame him for the murderers, but you don't take a stick and whack the beehive if you need a photo op.

16. That's just fucking great
How many soldiers are going to be retasked babysitting this idiot while he goes shopping at some market that will get blown up the following week?

On a side note, if I was an Iraqi vendor and McCain came a calling to my shop I would close up shop and move far away as soon as he left. Is the man stupid or something? Doesn't he know that the market he visited was targeted specifically BECAUSE he proclaimed it safe? But hey, I guess it doesn't matter if a few peons die if it helps him raise his polling numbers. What a honking jackass.
