An open letter to Nancy Pelosi and any Democrat in office

Please put Impeachment back on the table.
I'm not saying START impeachment, in all reality that is unfeasible, as much as we here at DU would want it to be. Please simply take it out of the drawer, dust it off, and put it on the table. Let them know, They are accountable, and that the congress WILL hold them accountable. This action above many others will show the Democratic party has a spine. That those in the Majority will follow their hearts, conscience and the will of the people (70+%).

Where the GoP always slams us hard into the ground is with their appearance of unity. They appear unified, no matter how horrid and evil their plans are. There is a common belief that they may be evil, but at least they have a plan. We need to have a plan, a unified plan. We need to put impeachment back ON the table. We MUST show the American people that the Democratic party stands for that, democracy and rule of LAW, NOT rule of a man.

I understand what you want to accomplish, Health care for everyone, better schools, better infrastructure, it's what everyone wants and needs, even if they don't recognize it. But you must also pander a bit to your base. This symbolic gesture will help the Democratic party all across this great country of ours more than you realize. PLEASE PUT IMPEACHMENT ON THE TABLE.
