I found this response to an article on scrubbie and crawford from the Houston Chronicle. I thought I'd share with you:

caroldholleman wrote:
bush may be bad. but i would never vote democrat. they have the morals of an alley cat(clinton, carter, nixon) everybody knows that clinton didnt run the white house his b*tch wife did. and i give Bush credit for not lying to us to our faces that he did not have sexual relations with that woman. and he smoked (marijuana) but didnt inhale. give me a break! he insulted us all with that lie. and clinton dodged the draft too by running to canada to hide out. at least Bush enlisted. im not happy with everything that Bush is doing i think the war should have been long over, but i do give him an A for effort. i wonder how any one of you would do if you had to run the country??

This person is either so seriously f**king stupid that she should be prevented from using sharp objects or she's trying to be funny.

An even funnier response comes from cajunrick...

No, Caroldholleman is not my wife. She's a woman who is an independent thinker and capable of making her own decisions. So is the woman who IS my wife. She (and I) are waiting for Fred Thompson to enter the race so we have a man with courage and testicles to vote for.

cajunrick = hugh moran

10. Well, he DID admit to committing adultery in his heart.
Personally I prefer to commit it in a hotel room.

13. Well, he did "lust in his heart".
Clearly, that's not something any Right-thinking
Republican male would do!

20. Perhaps they're offering to retroactively trade Nixon for Lieberman
A dead Nixon for a brain-dead Lieberman. Sounds fair enough.

4. I smell a conspiracy.
A letter to editor in my hometown paper a few weeks ago had the same basic premise and cited the same examples (bitch wife, wait till Fred Thompson runs, clinton dodged draft). I opine this woman is behind it:

12. So, under the "b*tch wife"
the economy flourished, the only terrorist attack on our home soil was committed 1-2 months into her first term (unlike the 8 months into W's first term, of which he is not responsible ...)???

19. Is he claiming that * told the truth about his drunk driving and cocaine use?
He seems to be saying that Clinton lied, that was the problem, and that since * confessed his sins, it's OK.

Sounds like the justification the mob does for itself ("at least we are honest about the fact we are criminals").
