Look at it this way. Blitzer not a journalist. He is a sales rep for corporate America, and his performance with Moore was EXACTLY what I would expect, because I have seen it a thousand times.
The slick, unflappable manner, unflustered in the face of Moores justified outrage, even though he clearly KNOWS that everything Moore is saying is true.
But don't you and I get the exact same kind of treatment from the corporate sales reps and "customer service" reps, or timeshare salsepeople or just about any corporate representative we deal with in our own lives?
I know I've gotten it when I tried to raise my concerns about AT&T's SHITTY service and false claims in their promotions.
I've seen my cantankerous old dad go nuts when he tried to deal with a magazine subscription and bills that kept coming a YEAR after he canceled it.
(But at least Moore didn't have to push 4, then the pund sign, then 3+*, htne another pound sign and wait on hold for 35 minutes just to talk to Wolf)
The reps always respond in the exact same unctious, reptilian way.
It's sad, but our country is crawling with Wolf Blitzers.
What is it about corporate culture and the pursuit of the almight dollar that turns so many people this way?
