What do either of them care if they are in contempt of congress? Why should either of them care who they lie to? Just look what happened to Scooter.

Sara told us she had made her oath to the President, one presumes he to her as well.

1. Do you think they are foolish enough to trust Bush?
They know that they would have to lie if they are questioned. As ye sow, so shall ye reap.

6. Where is his power of pardon restricted other than what the Supremes will sign off on?

4. I would like to think
that pardoning additional members of this administration would be the straw that broke the camel's back. Perhaps it would be worth a pardon if that sealed the removable of *Co. I can dream can't I?

5. The Bushie Oath
"I swear by God this sacred oath: I will render unconditional obedience to Dumbya, the Unitary Führer of the PNAC Reich and people, Supreme Commander In Chief of the Armed Forces, and will be ready as a brave soldier to risk my life at any time for this oath."

7. While that is true...
...and Bush will be happy to oblige with commutations, pardons, what-have-you... There is the court of public opinion. That's where Nixon ultimately got snagged. And it looks to me like we're heading down that road.
