I didn't see or hear the press conference today in which he said that, but heard a little snippet of it on the radio.

I mean, I though hiring Tony Snow from Fox News as a press secretary was pretty sleazy, but now incorporating their slogan into a political speech?! It's just ludicrous! Outrageous! Maddening! In another words, a typical day in the W era of this country.

2. fair and balanced "news"
Why not? Faux news is just the propaganda outlet for the Repubes anyway... At least they barely even pretend to be separate entities. But not long ago, I had the misfortune to witness Leslie Stahl ( I think... forgive me Ms. Stahl if I'm mixing you up with someone else---pretty sure though) interviewing Lou Dobbs and acting shocked when he expressed his opinion of Bush, exclaiming " and you admit this? What ever happened to fair and balanced? So , to be expected by Republicans, but apparently, Faux is now the journalistic standard CBS aspires to. In fact, our local CBS news proclaims itself as offering "balanced news" in its seemingly constant promos. Gotta give both sides ya know. I'm sure that soon we'll be hearing something like "there was an accident on I-40 this evening... OR WAS THERE??? "

3. Yes he did, and then the very next reporter
he called upon was the African American from Fox Noise who was part of the panel asking questions during the second Republican debate.

4. Some of the reporters actually made note of that phrasing
It was like a rumble of "caught ya" nervous laughter through the group. Someone actually noted it. (I don't know who, I was only listening)
