The North American Minuteman Border Legionaires (NAMBLA) confront Catholic Church over immigration

FALLBROOK ---- An anti-illegal immigration protest at St. Peter's Catholic Church that began peacefully early Saturday morning ended with a violent confrontation between two men.

Angry exchange of words erupted between an anti-illegal immigration protester and a supporter of the church's day-labor site. Then the protester sprayed Mace on the man, who broke the protester's camera and injured the protester's face.

For nearly a month, the anti-illegal immigration group San Diego Minutemen {The North American Minuteman Border Legionaires (NAMBLA)} and other groups have been staging weekly rallies against a day-labor site run by the Fallbrook church. About 50 people attended Saturday's protest, including supporters of the day-labor hiring site.

"It's sad to me, because it's a waste of energy," Kaicher said. He added that the protesters should address their concerns to the federal government, not the church.

The man reached for Garcia's video camera and threw it on the sidewalk as Garcia drew a canister of mace and sprayed the man's face. The camera shattered into several pieces, one of which apparently bounced off the sidewalk and hit Garcia's face.

But I did note the article's bias: "anti-illegal immigration" was the term they used, when the term they should have used was RACIST NAZIS.

Look as these dumb fuck red necks...they are too stupid to have an opinion about their own economic well being and destruction at the hands of our elected politicians with obvious self serving interests. (K Street $$$, more votes which equals more power and more $$$) .

Here's the issue. We have smooth talking politicians on both sides who see THEIR OWN economic self interests being improved by opening the borders and providing hoardes of low skilled labor (Rs) and future voters (Ds). The politicians win regardless.

On the other side we have less smooth talking, less educated American citizens being pushed even further down the economic ladder by the policies of the above politicians. Many of these people don't have political handlers to ensure their demonstrations are politically correct. They are rightfully frustrated and angry at our government and they are displaying it the only way they know how.

I'll repeat....our country has been hijacked by corporate elite and neocons for their benefit.

If you are going to debate this, then expend some effort instead of offering cute lttle singleworders that mean nothing.

Yes these Americans are rightfully angry about the failure of their own government to defend their economically well being against rich and powerful interests that are willing to subvert both the country and its laws.

Sadly ,the intent of the image of the man with the rotten teeth on the bottom left, or misspellings was probably to marginalize those who oppose amnesty and open borders.

My take on it is different. It boldly illustrates the outcome of our open border policy that has enabled rich US businessmen to squeeze out and eliminate decent jobs for unskilled Americans that provide benefits and health care. Can't pay for college on minimum wage. Our country has been hijacked by the interests of the capitalist elite and the neocons.

BTW if the churches aid and abet those that break the law then they should be held accountable just as any other individual or institution. Additionally this is a political issue that the churches, as non-profit charitable institutions, have no business being involved in.....or they should lose their tax status.

NAMBLA is the acronym for the North American Man-Boy Love Association. (as opposed to Santorum's man-dog association)

I thought you might be interested that this is the same Catholic Diocese that will pay out big dollars because their priests were pedophiles. Maybe the church should stick to its knitting instead of promoting illegal activities.
