3. You better believe it!
I had one of them video me at a peace vigil that we hold twice a week and post it under the title Communist on YouTube! I contacted YouTube and they say that it doesn't violate their rules. Now if you search YouTube for my village this video comes up. It was quite the blow when I first discovered it. One of my friends' children found it before I did. The man basically stalked us for weeks on end until the VA massacre and then he went away. It is pitiful! Peace, Kim

6. It may or may not violate the law, though.

It may or may not violate the law, though.

I'm not up on the finer points of who, acting in
public, can be videoed without their permission
and then have that video publicized.

Perhaps someone here knows?

Or perhaps your local attorney knows?

Maybe you have an action against the vdeographer
and wouldn't that be sweet?

11. Thanks for that.
YouTube suggested that I contact the poster! Talk about your 26%er. He came every Tuesday and called us Communist and other such lovelies. I actually tried to talk to the guy, you know, peace negotiation style. In the end he actually stopped one day and told me that I was the only one who had treated him nicely and thanked me. In the meantime he had posted the video. He is an odd bird and I don't have money to spend on an attorney. I have been tempted to post a comment but I hate to stir him up. The thing has been posted since May and I only saw it when a business associate drew it to my attention last week. I appreciate your comments. Peace, Kim

I wonder if it violates YouTube rules for you to
post a comment that specifically identifies the
videographer? Presumably, he's now identified only
by a screename?

13. This guy gave me his business card!
He has a speaking presentation on Armenian Genocide! www.ohioarmenians.us. Seriously I could call him but it seems to me that only a disturbed person would actually thank me for being nice, and then turn around and screw me on the internet. I think it is against the rules to use a persons real name but hey, it is OK to show a persons face and detail the village that they live in and slander them. Only in America. I have lost some love for You Tube over this. I will post a comment to the video, I just haven't decided how to respond. Peace, KIm

5. My world is the 26%....... some examples:

Close relative:

Global Warming is a lie spread by Scientists hoping to get rich off of big government climate research grants. (I see Rove here. While the Exxon/Mobil rakes in record billions...yes it's the evil scientists that are trying to screw us)

Friend (?) Why should us earthlings pretend to know what best for God's planet? How do we know that Global Warming isn't good for the planet? Maybe the future world will be different but better.

Neighbor when I told him 54% favor Cheney's impeachment was just clueless as to why. Wasn't aware of any Cheney issues.

All watch Fox. One was annoyed I mentioned CNN. Close relative lets FOX blast 12 hours a day into his living room. Sleep in front of the TV with FOX on.

9. Suggest to your friend that...

Sugges to your credulous friend that maybe Global Warming
is a sign that the Rapture has already occurred, we're
still here, and what's happening now is that God is busily
warming up the ovens which will eventually convert the surface
of the Earth into Hell, and that we are all part of the
left-behind damned souls.

It ought'a at least be fun to watch your friend's head
as it considers exploding...

7. count my dad in...
Truly disturbing to have a conversation with him. He's not religious, not against abortion or birth control, pro-stem cells, a fiscal conservative, but still drinks the kool aid by the gallon -- follows Thompson, Coulter, Fauxnews, etc.

Perhaps the apple did not fall far from the tree, but it sure did roll a long way after that!
