Republican Voinovich: "Bush f*cked up war & fur is going to fly"
Edited on Mon Jul-16-07 04:54 PM by kpete
Voinovich added that other Republicans are close to speaking out against the President’s current strategy.

“I won’t mention anyone’s name. But I have every reason to believe that the fur is going to start to fly, perhaps sooner than what they may have wanted.”

In private, Voinovich is more blunt, using a profanity to describe the White House’s handling of Iraq by charging the administration “f—ed up” the war.

Voinovich stressed he expressed his views to Rove as a positive “opportunity” for the president to come together with Democrats and Republicans on an exit strategy that will be good for the country

1. But..but...but....we're invading Iran
Come on, George, the Decider can't invade Iran unless he uses his brand-spankin' new bases he built in Iraq!

He's the Decider, V! Get with the program!

3. The war itself was the fuck up.
There was no good way to do this war, none. No matter what they did it was going to be the disaster it has become.

5. You are right, the war was a huge mistake. Voinovich has supported
the war/invasion/occupation all the way through these years of killing Iraqis.

He is too late to earn the Congressional Medal.

4. MY Senator Voinovich doesn't have the backbone to stick with this.
I will cave to * sorry to say. He may even shed a few tears but he will kneel to *.

We need to replace him and send someone stronger to the US Senate.
