3. especially the minority leader though
a little payback for what they did to Tom Daschle-the good news is Chuck Schumer is REALLY good at his job and the ads they are running in the home states of the GOP obstructionists are having an affect

8. Sadly, Sessions is going nowhere
As an Alabamian I can assure you that Jeff Sessions will be there till he rots.

It sucks, but it is the reality of Alabama.

9. Domenici is in big trouble in NM---
75 years old, lowest popularity ratings ever, accused of arranging the firing of a popular federal prosecutor, David Iglesias, and saddled with the GOP's national problems.

10. and w'd love to see Alexander gone
but nobody's stepped up to the plate yet (that I know of). I'm sure the idiot will trade his $2000 suits for a plaid shirt and pickup again and fool TN again. He just recently 'came out' against the war, perfect timing.

7. You left Mary Landrieu off the list
One speech (last night) does not absolve her of years of parroting Lieberman in virtually every respect.

She has to go.

18. Well Lieberman had a D after his name as well (until last year) - it doesn't make him a Dem
Same with Landrieu.

When you vote with the Rs more than the Ds (especially on the issues that really matter), you need to go.

21. My God Do You Need To Pay Attention.
The list above is a list of GOP senators. She's not on there because she is not a GOP senator. It doesn't matter if you want someone to overcome her in the primaries, since we'd still be fighting for the dem to win the general election. This list above is who is running for the GOP in 2008. Could you not figure out for yourself why the name then wasn't on the list?

if he runs.

19. Looking over that list
Alexander - Probably not vulnerable
Allard - Retiring
Chambliss - Potentially vulnerable
Cochran - Not vulnerable unless he retires
Coleman - Vulnerable
Collins - Potentially vulnerable
Cornyn - Potentially vulnerable
Craig - Not vulnerable
Dole - Potentially vulnerable
Domenici - Not vulnerable at one point but possibly now due to his scandals
Enzi - Not vulnerable
Graham - Probably not vulnerable, sadly
Hagel - Not vulnerable (unless he's angered a lot of Nebraskans with his differing viewpoints). He, of course, might retire to run for president, though.
Inhofe - Potentially vulnerable
McConell - One can always hope but I doubt it :(
Roberts - Not vulnerable. Kansas hasn't had a Democratic senator since the 1930s, I believe.
Sessions - Not vulnerable
Smith - Potentially vulnerable
Stevens - I would like to think so but probably not. He is, however, pretty damn old now and that might be a cause for concern among some Alaskans
Sununu - Vulnerable
Warner - Not vulnerable unless he retires

20. Hagel = VERY vulnerable. Will probably retire, and be replaced
by a Rove-sponsored Nazi (Bruning).

23. How is it possible that the Texan is vulnerable?
Also, how many Democrats are running who are vulnerable? Tim Johnson?

So there's only two vulnerable and only 6 potentially vulnerable. That's about what I figured, except I cannot believe Texas is vulnerable. We need to protect our vulnerabilities too.

25. We're knocking off Box Turtle Cornyn
with a great progressive named Rick Noriega.

The campaign's goal is to get to 800 donors in the next 30 days, and a contribution in any amount is welcome.
