The effort to equalize blame between Congressional Democrats and BushCo
I'm listening to Tucker, and he's twisting himself into a frenzy in an effort to blame Democrats as equally complicit in the Iraq fiasco.

Without getting into another argument about the IWR, the MSM has changed its tune. What happened to Democrats not supporting the Preznit, the troops, the war, for all these years? And Democrats hoping for Iraq to become a disaster for partisan political reasons? And Democrats being weak on terror for opposing the invasion? And Democrats wanting to "hold hands and sing Kumbaya?" And Democrats "not wanting the good news to come out" about Iraq? And Democrats being overly-concerned about the UN and our allies?

When they THOUGHT the war was a great idea, Democrats were of course on the "wrong" side of their hype.

Now that it's OBVIOUS the war was a bad idea, Democrats are of course on the "wrong" side again! They went from being wrong for being opposed, to being wrong for being right there with the Preznit the whole time.

1. I read a Seattle Times editorial that was doing that...

saying that dems were unwilling to compromise. The intellectual dishonesty in that statement is overwhelming.

2. That's so ironic because they also blame Democrats for lack of GOP votes!!
Tucker again repeated, "The Democrats could end the war tomorrow by voting to cut off funding." But it's Republicans who use the filibuster to require 60 votes and defeat every measure.

4. If only that were true...
...unfortunately, what he is is another willing catapulter of propaganda, so he is valuable to the entities that pay his salary.

It doesn't matter how inane his points are: he is one of many who obfuscate and outright lie, so that the public at large will remain uninformed / misinformed / disinformed and unable to make real logical distinctions about what is going on.

It's the same reason Novak continues to spout lies about Plame's non-covertness (another lie, and he knows it): but they don't care, in fact they and their overlords are fine with it because they are doing exactly what they are supposed to do.

5. What's to equalize? According to DUers, it's all Reid's, Pelosi's, and Conyers' faults.
