The Half Hour News Hour (just gets worst and worst) Dennis Miller Segement

I now think that Dennis Miller is actually a Democrat, playing the role of a bad Republican comedian. I dont mind right wing people making fun of Democrats, I love Penn and Teller, but this is just so sad, Im sure Miller must be up to something because its so bad.

He's so accustomed to audiences not laughing that he zipped through his material like a hummingbird on speed. That's cause there were practically no punch lines. I don't know if there was an audience or not. If there was, they laughed about 1/3 of the time. If it was canned humor, they didn't even make a pretense that most of the material deserved a laugh.

The 18 wives punchline wasn't bad, because it actually WAS a punchline. The Sicko had so few viewers the fire departmetnt allowed you to call Fire in the theater was OK. Two semi funny things out of about 16. Not a good ratio, especially if said in front of your fellow wing nuts.

The people he's tryin to appeal to don't understand

his pseudo intellectual bullshit. He's alienated everyone who sort of tolerated him on SNL and he has failed to appeal to the dumshits because of his smirky manner.

He's just a fuckin loser and he deserves to be forgotten by everyone.
