The Great John Edwards Hair Debate: It's True Significance
When you ask why are we the only nation without universal healthcare. When you ask why is our middle class disappearing? When you ask why is our education system failing us? When you ask why is Social Security in trouble? When you ask why are we in a quagmire in Iraq with no end in site.

When you ask these real questions, yet the media focuses on distraction issues about the cost of a man's haircut, and it becomes a major political issue, then you understand how and why the U.S. is quickly becoming a Third World nation. Our political system gets bogged down by exceptionally trivial issues, and the real issues that we need to address are never fully vetted by the media and the public.

Thus, dullards are "elected" whose only skill is in manipulating the system.

1. our corporate overlords make sure that the only things we hear are the trivial
and of course our leadership tells us stuff like....

"the nation couldn't handle impeachment"..

their right...we are too busy worrying about whether some dipshit starlet will be able to finish her latest movie in spite of her rehab and whether the child she is carrying is her lawyer's or her dietician's....

3. If Edward's hair care costs are so damn important......
why was there not a ruckus raised over Prickles $700 dollar
inaugural ball hair-do? Looked like 7, cost 700.

4. I think it's more sinister than that.
I think it is the result of efforts over the past several decades to dumb down Joe Blow. A dumb American is an easy American to manipulate.
