Feinstein to Endorse Clinton
WASHINGTON (AP) -- U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein is throwing her support behind Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York for president.

An aide said the San Francisco Democrat plans Feinstein plans to make the endorsement on a conference call this afternoon.

Feinstein is a former mayor of San Francisco and a centrist Democrat who is one of the state's most powerful and popular politicians. Her backing adds to growing support for Clinton in
California with its bonanza of campaign cash and Democratic voters. The state recently moved its primary up to February 5th.
