A LTE in today's Syracuse Post Standard made a serious accusation about Hillary Clinton:
The writer accused Hillary Clinton of pressuring the Pentagon to favor Raytheon products because she owns Raytheon stock. Is there a connection between either of the Clintons and Raytheon?

Please note: For all I know, I may own Raytheon since my 401K is invested in a mutual fund. Since I assume every candidate owns stocks, I also assume every candidate ends up owning some problematic stocks. The real question here is, if Hillary owns any Raytheon, is it a significant part of her portfolio? If not, this disinformation needs to be shot down quickly.

2. I can't find out if this is true one way or another.
I strongly suspect that it is untrue, but I'd like to find out for sure.

4. They had some stock after the reviewed it and found might be questioned
so they sold it, this might have been one...and by the way how about cheney's Halliburton stock that is rolling in almost billions for him. He didn't sell it. But I don't see anything in the MSM about it. But damn just Hillary and Bill have stock that MIGHT be misinterpreted and all hell breaks loose.

11. Several years ago
I did some work on an EPA Super Fund site in Syracuse, the old Marley's scrap yard I believe.

We were extracting mass quantities of really bad s**t, way beyond what was expected to be there. Two months latter we were kicked of the site and the EPA closed the remediation, ten months later a large new shopping mall opened on the site and SPS headline was, and I s**t you not, "Shop Till You Drop".

This was a letter to the editor rather than a news item. Apparently at least one person is convinced that Hillary has a connection to Raytheon. The only thing I could find on Google was that Bill Clinton as President tried to get foreign countries to buy Raytheon products. I think that's pretty normal for a President to try to push other countries to buy from our defense contractors. It may be that the person who wrote the letter conflated two different stories. However, if Hillary was pushing our Armed forces to buy Raytheon products while she owned the stock, we'll be hearing more about this. It may be perfectly innocent, but like I said, life is unfair to Democrats.

13. I think that is the one.
I only worked there a couple months and moved on to a site at Eastman Kodak in Rochester. A Chemist from Syracuse received the paper from his mom while we were there.

I doubt she would allow herself to be deeply involved in anything so obvious, and since I really do not care for her to become president, I am being objective here.

All presidents financially supported by industry are salespersons for the MIC. The country where the merchandise goes does not matter to them if it stays out of any real debate.

But Hillary strikes me as having the common sense not to jeprodise everything over a couple bucks, before the real money money making opportunities become the issue.
