If A Republican Is Elected President in 2008, I Will Definitely Move To Europe
I've threatened to do this in 2000 and 2004, but now I am finally financially able to pull off such a move. If President Guiliani or President Romney or President Thompson is sworn in 2009, I will be on a plane heading to Europe to start a new life. I'm just too old for this shit. I'm not going through another 4 years of this shit.

I apologize to anyone who thinks that I am a coward, but I just can't do it.

Thanks to bush, the gop might be in minority status for a long time to come. You can fool about 25% of the american people all the time, that does not constitute continued victory.

5. I wouldn't equate a 25% approval rating for Bush
with a 25% approval rating for all Republicans. The election is a long way off, but you wouldn't know it with all the debates going on.

19. Yes. When I was there in 2004 they really wanted people to move there because of a
falling population. However, I don't want to give up 50% of my retirement income. It will take you $2.0173 to buy a British pound. (as of yesterday)

The parents of my best childhood friend left Germany in about '36; on one of the last flights out that Jews were allowed on.. obviously a literally life saving decision.

36. I am glad to have company. It does have to do with age. I also
threatened to leave if Bush won again in '04, but was not yet financially able. I too by '08 will be ready to move to Europe. Want to join me in the south of France...can't be too many GOPers there...Frenchies are not their thing, as we all well know. That said I am still hoping that a Democratic president will be sworn in Jan '09.
