Craig shouldn't resign until after his appeal
It just occurred to me that Craig should be able to successfully appeal his guilty plea on the grounds that "a man who serves as his own lawyer has a fool for a client".

Can't people appeal if their lawyer is incompetent ? Under that theory, Craig is home free. If I were him, and had been treated this shabbily by my own "friends" , I'd stay there just for spite.

1. Witty, but doesn't generally work...
Usually when someone insists on serving as their own legal counsel, the Judge is careful to cofirm both their determination and soundness of mind, and to remind them of the implications, to avoid such an appeal.

2. come on. hes a liar and a farcical liar at that. he knows it, everyone else knows it,
everyone knows he knows hes lying and he knows everyone knows hes lying.

he is dipping out so he can keep up the pretense that 'hes not gay' and 'never has been gay' instead of coming clean and being honest which he CAN NOT do.

I guess there will be an unspoken agreement to let him retain the illusion as long as he doesnt rub in in everyones face.

3. I can't imagine any grounds for an appeal here. He signed the form,
just like a parking ticket. He told the court he's guilty just the same as if he'd stood there face to face with the judge under oath.

Can't do the time? Don't do the crime.
