About that fictional white collar society
that we're supposed to have or be moving towards... ...Yeah right.

How are we supposed to compete with the rest of the world when we're working on computers with slower web service on a national level than they are? It's like fighting with both hands tied behind your back. Instead of taking profits and putting them into building a future and using government money that was given specifically for improved internet speeds and service, the corporations have taken the money and apparently spent it elsewhere. If there was anything remotely resembling justice in this country any more, the CEOs of the corporations who were given money and who were in charge of working on internet related functioning should have their pensions revoked, property and bank accounts forfeited and seized, and future wages garnished.
