11. Gives a whole new meaning to "toeing the line" or getting
a "leg up" on the competition, doesn't it?
Will he be doing the "soft shoe" now?
I wonder if their sign language includes a symbol for "what's your sign?"

30. It happened yesterday when Bush and Tony Snow were
handing the reins over to Dana Perrino. Video on C-Span: White House Press briefing with Tony Snow August 31, 2007. About the 2:45 mark, as he was walking out, someone shouted the question "Should Senator Craig resign?", but Bush didn't acknowledge him.

25. This is the best news I've had in 20 years, I am so happy right now - Craig is leaving!
Oh, man, what an uphill struggle this has been.
We've been after this warmongering, rubber-stamping, worthless piece of garbage for years.
Finally, Larry did it to himself!

I can't believe how good I feel knowing we will have a Democrat in the Senate again in 2009.
There's no way the Republicans can regroup fast enough from this scandal.
There's no way we won't have a Democrat back in Washington representing us once again.

28. The other day, Randi said that many Idahoans don't vote
She asserted that if the Dems in Idaho got themselves organized, they could make it a strong race for Craig's seat.

Now, with a Repub appointed, that one will be the incumbent with a year's worth of experience in that Senate seat. A tough hill to climb for Dems. But there's time to make a good fight out of it. Get Dems registered!

39. Democrats had no reason to vote in the last few years - the entire nation tilted to the right.
There were a lot of Democrats that I knew in 2000 that didn't see any reason for voting, but they did just the same because there were local races that were very close.

We used to have a Democratic Senator and a Democratic Representative for years here in Idaho.
Idaho didn't used to be so cotton-picking far to the right.

The Iraq War, coupled with Larry Craig resigning will ENERGIZE Democrats in Idaho next year.
I guarantee that.

Republican Representative Bill Sali is the most divisive Republican to ever serve in the US Congress.
People are already lining up from within his own party to get him the hell out of Congress.
Sali is a homophobe throwback to the 1950's.

In 2009, we could once again have a Democrat Senator and a Democrat Representative in the US Congress from Idaho.

29. Don't count your LaRocco's before they've hatched
I had exactly the same sentiment about John Kerry in '04. Idaho repugs never fail to snatch victory from the jaws of overconfident Dems.

40. I'm not talking about LaRocco.
There is someone else out there that will challenge LaRocco and beat him at his own game.
For one thing, LaRocco is a moderate Democrat.
And when the pendulum swings, it is going to swing way to the left of where LaRocco stands.

37. victim of whom????
yeah, I know a lot of so-called progressives have shown an ugly side by straying from criticizing his hypocrisy to criticizing his being gay ...

but he got drummed out of office by the OTHER RW hypocrites, whom faux snooze just drools over. It is Tom Delay who equated his relatively minor misdemeanor to the 90 grand in the freezer.

So who is faux cricizing?
