2. Gotta be the Liberal/progressive, since they reinforce that POV.
At least, in my reading.

It is interesting. I was a county chair for the Dukakis campaign back in 1988, and Dukakis spoke in my county, so I got to help organize the big event (over 5k of attendees). This was in rural Missouri, so that was huge.

One of the local, prominent Democrats we had speaking said something to the effect of "I don't see how you could simultaneuosly claim to be Christian and Republican at the same time." I don't think many of the attendees at the time thought there was very much odd, nor extremely controversial, in that statement.

There was one letter to the local paper about it, actually written by a Republican friend of mine. This person said that one's political philosophy could differ from their religious philosophy because the constution said they should be separate.

My, how times have changed.

3. Hmmm. Do you have the answer
to this question you pose before us or is it up to us to just answer for you? If I had to guess, I would say it would be a republicon to quote these words because they are always using religion for self-gain and that method and tactic is simply to make the other person look worse so that the republicon crap they are doesn't seem as bad. I agree that the republicons are hypocrites and pharocies because those Words and the Bible as a whole are directed to the individual that the individual may improve upon oneself in order to go to Heaven and not to be used to sit in judgement of others. bush(not worth capitalizing) wears religion on one sleeve while the other is stained with blood.

4. When I visited Fundy-In-Law's church
I bet my wife that Jesus would not be quoted even ONCE during the service.

I was right.

6. A liberal affirms the "good news" while a right-winger is obsessed with the "left hand of God."
That's it in a (Tahiti)Nutshell. :silly:

7. Without the Gospel the law only convicts us. Without the Law the Gospel is hollow and unnecessary
All the words are necessary, both black and red. Who pays attention to only one color courts the devil.

8. IMHO
republicons do read all of the words, but use it against others for their own gains. They don't follow the words just like the hypocrites and pharacies that they are.
