On Larry King...Bill Clinton put very well why Al Gore should run
The former president said, and correct me if I'm wrong, that while he can have an impact on some issues as a private citizen, it can't equal what a president can do. Al Gore believes fervently in doing something about global warming. He does great things as a private citizen, but as president he can do much more through policy and working with leaders world wide.

Run, Al Run. (If you don't you're still tops with me :))

4. It's a given Gore would win ... he already did once. He may be coming up
with Plan B: Gore/Clinton this time.

7. I would think it would be just the opposite.
I'd love it if Gore would run, but I think he could do more for global warming and this planet as a citizen. Look at how much he's done already. He's not burdened by red tape or wrangling. He can approach anyone anywhere. And, he can focus solely on that.

I'm surprised Bill Clinton said that - he's done so much for the poor and the suffering with his Foundation. Not that he didn't as President, but I would have thought he'd feel he had more freedom and control now.

10. If he's going to run, he has to announce over the next 30 days...
I believe many primary states actually have a deadline to appear on the ballot. And considering he has no campaign warchest he'll need to start raising money ASAP.
