Give me liberty or give me death.
Edited on Thu Sep-06-07 09:20 PM by WTF cubed
Thanks, Pat.

Really. With this imaginary war based on imaginary facts that have helped this government take away our freedoms...

Bring it on, Motherfuckers! I'm tired of the bullshit and I just can't take it anymore.

The vast majority of my countrymen want the hell out of Iraq. They are content not to support wealthy corporations in their quest for ME oil. I want to be free of having religion shoved down my throat as a prerequisite for public service.

I want to be free in my country to seek healthcare even when I'm broke.

I want to be free in my country to acquire knowledge beyond the 12th grade when I am poor but intelligent.

I want to be sure that my 90 year old parents will not have their utilities cut off in the coldest winter or hottest summer.

I want to be sure that the mother and her children do not have to live in a box under the freeway.

I'm fucking tired of the shit the last 40 years has grown. Unchecked Capitalism is like a game of Monopoly. One person wins and everyone else loses.

If that's the way it is... I'm to the point.

Give me liberty...
Or give me death.

4. Same here. I've really been breaking through lately.
All the bullshit that used to perplex me has been coming clear, I'm looking at the devices used to keep the people down and its like in the Matrix, just lots of little green characters floating down; a code I can finally read. One way or another, this goose is cooked, serious changes are a comin'.

5. It's because Amerika has now entered the Middle Phase of Transition
from Old American Republic and Liberty to BushPutinist State and the New Totalitarianism.

Their Bushie machinations are growing clearer and more obvious the closer we get to whatever the Bushies' Final Solution for Liberals and Amerika is.

Like the 1930s Germans, to whom this happened long before Bush did it to us, we will finally have full understanding of the mechanisms of tyranny only after they are fully fleshed out, locked down, and no one can do anything about it.

And yes, staring right into the maw of evil certainly has an elucidating effect on learning exactly how evil works...for all of us cursed (or blessed as the case may be) for seeing the Kinder and Gentler Naizs for what they were from the very start.

6. Bushco has taken a "Snakes on the Pane" attitude of "there's Motherfuckin' snakes
on the plane!" in trying to cower Americans IMHO.

10. I don't know what the other six links of yours hold...
But God I love Tracy Chapman and remember blasting that song out on my stereo when it first came out.

I don't think it would go over well. Where do we draw the line? Change without violence.

The other links are an array. I like everything.

I ran into a video on the Shah of Iran. Old footage. Almost every comment was in praise of him. It tells me something. The truth is being twisted. How can we achieve a better world if we're at odds with the truth? I worry about this. Look at the schism in America right now.

We want a world where people can live together. It is possible.

12. I'm cringing as I post this
because I might be pissing a lot of people off, but the more I look at Ron Paul, the more I think he may be the only one who is willing to make the major changes needed to restore our liberties and freedoms.

There. I said it.

13. Don't feel bad....
I disagree with much of his libertarian stances but certainly enjoy his stance on the war and his performances in the Repug debates.

Good for you.

Now find some asbestos. :)
