Mary Matalin on Hannity tonight endorsing him.
She looks more like a transvestite with every new hair-do.

1. So, who's the White House pick: Matalin's boy, or Jeb's?
Because while Matalin's espousing the wonders of Fred, the presidents brother was telling RNC fundraisers to get behond Romney months ago.

2. His candidacy really scares me.
I'm not sure how the Democrats will handle having both the Congress and the White House.

14. The same way they did under Clinton and Carter
They will sell out to the highest bidder and buck the president's agenda. Then they will be surprised when voters vote them out. We lose our majority, and nothing gets done for four more years.

3. She was on (I think it was MTP) and it seemed pretty clear from
her comments on fredrick of hollywood's leno appearance strategy that she must be working for him. I think I even caught her using the word "we".

7. YOu don't even have to assume that -- it's a known fact:
http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=aHxgdiVBgi1U&refer=home

"It's insane that he waited until hours after an essential New Hampshire debate" to make a formal announcement, said Frank Luntz, a Republican pollster and strategist.

Advisers to Thompson, including Republican strategist Mary Matalin, defend the move as smart because ``The Tonight Show'' averages 5.6 million viewers a night. A May 15 Republican debate on Fox News drew about 2.5 million.

It's an open secret that Thompson is Rove's pick, and your list of alleged "attributes" is the reason why. Another "figurehead" president.

21. You got it. Ol' Fred is

going to have some serious GOP support. I've been saying that for months: don't underestimate him. People laughed at Reagan and Dubya, too, but they won.

If Rove signs on to his campaign, we'll know he's the chosen one.

after a very hard 20 or 30 years.

12. Thompson, Rove's pick? - obviously the brain has lost his touch
Thompson will never gain momentum, he expects to gain numbers by repeated sound bytes/spin

13. Terry McAuliffe- "I'm never underestimating another B-Movie actor."
What is this about the board tonight that every one is making comments about peoples appearance?
Ugly= bad person / Good Looking= good person?

And transvestite used as a slur?

17. That's a likely scenario
Many people are following the National polls or larger state polls released occasionally to fill news time,
but Mitt has been concentrating on the first caucuses, straw polls and primaries such as Iowa and New Hampshire.

Once you start winning those early races the whole structure gets reshaped, see Kerry, John v. Dean, Howard 2004.

Polling shows John Kerry and Howard Dean in the lead positions a day before the New Hampshire primary voting.

I figure transvestites and transexuals probably tend to be on the liberal side. I've only ever met one transexual in my life...and she (he) was part of a progressive university student group.

25. I'm just saying, you can insult people without using "transvestite." I could see how
a transvestite would view that as an offensive comment.

BTW I'm gay, so I think I have a little idea about what it's like to deal with pejoratives
.

24. Yep. He's our next Emperor. I really thought it was going to be Ahhnold.
But he proved to have about 10% independence of thought from the Bushies, maybe as high as 20%.

Too much. Fred ThomBush will be the perfect frontman for evil.

And just wait until the Bushie Sub-Media & Lie Laundry playing Pied Piper to the pathetic MSM with their lies and half-truths, and don't forget those crucial omissions that alter meaning, Loyal Bushies!

I cannot see anything that will play out much different than it did in 2000 and 2004. same media script, new bullshit but it will all seem very familiar in...shape, shall we say.

The Bushie vote rigging & stealing & minority intimidation is still out there and in full force. A little more watchfulness form our side, but with no Party support (we're crackpots, you see, in spite of being proved correct again and again and again...), and you have to figure the Bushies are aggressively edxpanding their wildly successful voter suppression programs for minorities and vote stuffing that gave Bush his win "in the cities"

Then Jeb, I suppose, but who knows what the exact details of the future will be, only that there is a VERY strong chance that Amerika will finish turning totalitarian/Bushie and like the Roman Enpire, NEVER go back to Liberty until the angry descendants of it's victims finish it off after it's weakened, just like Rome.

I say this only because ALL Empires wind up like this, and once Old America died that is what we ARE. Therefore, it stands to reason OUR tyrannical and undemocratic Empire will go the way all the others did.

Why not? Stripped of it's Constitution, Bill of Rights, and Strong Free press, Amerika is just another Empire in a series of many, some worse.

Oh the shame and pain of having to aknowledge the truth of that last statement. When I think of all the great hopes for humanity the Old American Republic carried until the Bushies killed it, it is incredibly heartrending. To think this is how the creation of Washington, Jefferson, Franklin, and Madison perishes at the hands of monsters whom the Founding Fathers would be in armed revolt against RIGHT NOW, if they were alive today.
