After "academic freedom" fails, David Horowitz tries a new tactic to take over Universities

And get this, it's by forming Anti-Muslim squads.

Found this little manifesto on the site of the Terrorism Awareness Project, a group that is part of David Horowitz's fraud and bigotry operation otherwise known as the David Horowitz Freedom Center.

"The war against terror begins on your campus

The Terrorism Awareness Project is calling upon patriotic students at college campuses across America to open the eyes of their peers and to counter the dangerous propaganda undermining our defense against Islamic terror.

Radical Islamists have declared holy war on the West and pronounced a death sentence on every man, women and child living in our borders—yet most in America’s youth have neither an understanding of the threat nor of the drive and ability of this global confederacy to unleash untold horror on our populace.

If we are to be victorious in this deadly struggle we need men and women like you who are willing to educate their peers and to fight the myths and lies which put America’s very survival in danger.

What follows is a guide as to how you and your fellow students, under the banner of the Terrorism Awareness Project, can awaken the current generation of America’s youth and to help secure our future.

OK, but it quickly takes a turn to the Right:

Step 1: Form a chapter and gain supporters—
A chapter can consist of just you and some friends or, if you are able, it could have dozens or even scores of members. Good places to go for your recruiting would be the campus’s conservative or republican groups and your campus’s religious Christian and Jewish groups. Try to form an alliance with one or some of these clubs, and they can offer volunteers and funds, help to plan and execute events, and can help your club to maintain and to grow from year to year.

Here comes the propaganda:

Step 4: Publicize your chapter and disseminate information—
Place the TAP posters in prominent locations on campus, and if possible, in the dormitories and student center. (Suggestion: place the posters later at night so they won’t get posted over by other groups that same day and will be the first thing people see in the morning). Hand out fliers and palm cards in areas of high student traffic. Create a facebook group and e-mail a letter to all the heads of campus clubs and ask them to share it with their members. You should also start handing out some of the pamphlets and free DVD’s you have on hand, maybe sell some of the books listed on the terrorism resource guide at a discounted price, hand out strips and post flyers with the web address for the Islamic Mein Kampf video, etc. Another idea is to write a letter to professors notifying them of your efforts and to place it in their boxes along with a pamphlet, you may find a few supporters among your campus faculty that could be useful later, and some radical faculty may help publicize your club through their irrational reaction.

Spy on and harass Muslims:

Step 6: Research Islamic Studies on your campus—
A major source of misleading and even sympathetic propaganda about the Islamic Jihad in America is the centers, programs or departments of Islamic Studies on college campuses. Research Islamic Studies on your campus and see if this is the case. Find students in the classes and look at the syllabus. See if they are reading books are showing movies that only tell one side of the story and that don’t reflect the large body of scholarship about radical Islam as represented in your terrorism resource guide. Document whatever you find carefully and share your findings with your school paper and the administration, along with us as well.

More propaganda:

The annual terrorism awareness month is the heart of Terrorism Awareness Project and is the highest activism priority. The left has mastered the art of creating themes and campaign to orient their action and monopolize attention, and we can learn from this effective approach. Announce to community papers, your campus paper, and to students and professors however you can most effectively get their attention that a Terrorism Awareness Month is coming to your campus and that its goal is to educate your peers about the true threat of radical Islam.

A terrorism awareness month could consist of a small or large number of events, but should be tailored to the specific time, volunteer and financial resources available to your chapter. It would be better to host a month with two huge events than four, five or six small ones. The goal is to reach as large an audience as possible, to shake students out of their apathy and to open their eyes.

The very minimum you should shoot for is one day where you will inundate the campus with terrorism pamphlets and flyers and a screening of the film “Obsession,” which we will provide. The pamphleteering and flyering can of course be done on more than one day and indeed throughout the terrorism awareness month. And if you wish to do additional film screenings, the terrorism resource guide contains a list of films you can choose from and which we will help you acquire.

Any film screening you do should be heavily advertised and if you can afford it, you may want to take out an ad in the school paper. Facebook ads can be useful as well. We would be more than glad to help you with any advertising but the general idea is to straightforward and unapologetic about the crucial work you are doing. Sometimes raising eyebrows is the best first step to opening eyes. A tagline, for instance, for a screening of Obsession could read: “Islamic Jihad Exposed” Advertise heavily, give it a theme, and make it into a major event.

If you can, a terrorism awareness month would also ideally have a speaker or panel. The terrorism resource guide includes a list of terrorism experts and former terrorists who would make excellent selections for either speakers or panels. If you resources permit, you are encouraged to host more than one event with either a speaker or panel. Again, here we will help you both to get in touch with the speakers and to arrange their visits. As with the video, straightforward, enticing and copious advertising is always recommended and you should endeavor to create a buzz and excitement around each event and to try and garner as large an audience as possible. With any and all events you do you should always, in accordance with proper procedure on your campus, get security, and this security should be paid for by the university. It may take time, but we might see this David Horowitz Propaganda Squads in many universities soon, we have to try our best to counter them.
