3. When will we (men) learn to stop screwing over women?
At least she didn't go Bobbit on him and cut it off.

7. That is really not funny.
A crime was committed and there is no justification for this kind of gratuitous violence.

4. "Reynolds admitted to the act, but it is not known why she did it."
If the police really loved her then they wouldn't have to ask.

9. They just lost all the trust they had in that relationship........
I don't know if I could continue to love a woman who did that to me.

10. Love or no love, my advice to him would be clear out of there
or make sure she does when she gets out. Violence on that level is totally inexcusable.

11. "love a woman"? How about ever being able to fall asleep again in the same house!
Maybe next time it'll be boiling oil!

Has the time to boil water but no time to call authorities with the problem?

12. If the sexes were reversed here, this thread would be full of outrage directed at the man.

And sympathy for the woman. Hmm.

14. There was an almost identical story here a few months ago
I think that couple was married.

The posts assuming it was all the man's fault -- that he had abused the woman and she was fighting back in this way -- were the same, though.
