1. Ooh!
I was excited today when I saw on the Weather Channel that the Midwest (NE IN) was going to get down to 49 this Wednesday! :)

Hopefully the snow will help with the water situation in that area.

I heard today that the Rockies down into WY would be getting first snow this weekend. Glad to see it.

10. I'll be able to start with the fall cookery in about a month. If I'm lucky.
Couple years ago it stayed hideously hot right up 'til Thanksgiving.

8. allow me to take the opposing view
I hate winter with a passion. Its miserable and for the most part only those who love the cold and skiers are found outdoors. I am certainly looking forward to filling my oil tank at $2.80 a gallon.

13. oh it just a precursor to the evil known as snow
After 51 winters I've had it. Don't get me wrong Fall isn't so bad but at this point just the start of Football season puts me into a bad state of mind.
