What are (at this time) your three most important subjects for the election?

Sunday afternoon, electronic stores and tearoom senators have blown over, let's take inventory of what is keeping us up at night these days. I for one am curious to see what the issues are that DU cares about.

Ending the Iraq War.

By war I mean, get out now and don't leave a "presence" behind.

Balancing Constitutional Freedoms with National Security (undoing all of the illegal activities of BushCo™)

Securing Fair Elections (taking Diebold and other private firms and their methods out of the electoral equation)

Then we can get to Universal Single Payer Health Care

Shoring up Social Security

Breaking up Media and other Monopolies

etc...

I know, that is 4, but they are all equally important to me and I will not compromise my primary vote without all 4.

I do not care about the war, the war will end when Bush is gone. I care about the return of the rule of law, of the Constitution. This is the most important and lasting thing, all others are current events.

If you want the war to end you have to get him out of office. You can wait a year and a half for him to go and the war begin to wind down or you can try to have him removed at once, and thus the war ended, now. It is your choice.

No more health insurance,no more liability insurance,if you want to be covered you insure your own vehicle,if the other person wants to be covered they will need to buy thier own.If you cause an accident while under the influence of drugs or alcohol,speeding,tailgating,etc.mandatory jail time at hard labor doing the jobs other americans won`t do.Just think how much less money people would need although it would hurt the rich,but I just can`t see why they need to be taken care of the way they are.Stop this war and make it illeagle to attack anyone that has not attacked us first.Doing what idiot chimpy did is like a cop writting a speeding ticket to a driver because he thinks the driver will be speeding a mile down the road.Tax the oil companies and spend the money on bio-fuels get more diesels on the road.Put all females on birth control at the age of 12 and keep them on it untill they are old enough mentaly and financially stable enough to raise a child.That should end the abortion issue.Tax any church that makes more than 10,000.00 a year proffit.That is the way I feel so flame on I think the way I want to not the way other people say I should!

The first two are self-explanatory - the third refers to not only ending this war but how to rebuild relationships around the world after this embarrassing debacle.

Sorry, but 1 and 2 pose a MUCH greater danger to the world and America than the war, and we'll always be in dire danger of losing our democracy without the third option.

Restore Constitutional Rights - get rid of Patriot Act, Military Commissions Act and restore/strengthen FISA

Out of Iraq and no bombing or invading Iran

Universal single payer not for profit health care

Renegotiate trade treaties - bring OUR JOBS HOME
