How many more 9.11s before the news isn't led with several minutes of stories
on "patriotic" 9.11 memorials around the country?

2. I'm pissed that the worthless softball Q/A of Petraeus in the House yesterday
was fully covered, but today's hard-hitting meat and bones grilling by the Senate is pre-empted for 9/11 nostalgia. It has its place, certainly, but it doesn't make sense to look back at history from 6 years ago, all day long, instead of covering the history being made TODAY. Frustrating.

5. Me too!
AND another Bid Laden video and Brittney Spears!!! Having the hearings on 9/11 was a bad idea to begin with - it almost looks intentional.

7. Yes--it's like the BAD day for Petraeus and Crocker won't get covered on purpose.

8. The MSM is treating it like a minor story
Well, at least Keith will give it appropriate attention. This is disgusting.

4. i hope there will *never* be a September 11th
where people do not stop to pray for those we lost and pray that justice is delivered full-strength to the murderers responsible. and we all know who they are.

6. In the next 10 years the meaning and symbolism of 9/11 will radically change
On 9/12/2001 the attacks symbolized the hatred that terrorists have for our freedom.

Ten years from now after additional investigations are complete 9/11 will not be viewed as that. If anything, it will symbolize high crimes and felonies by people other than the 19 patsies.
