....plus another $50 billion and we get to have these hearings all over again in March 2008, that's the bottom line from two days of hearings

8. Unless the increase duty from 15 months to 18, the force levels had to drop by 30,000-so no big deal

they just made the required change date of June 2008 for a 30,000 drop in force levels into a "chosen path" that sounds like starting to leave - but isn't.

I wonder if 12 month tours while ever return - perhaps even with "guaranteed" durations of the stay in the US between tours.

Senator Webb has the only idea that stands a chance of passing and thereby changing the situation before June of 08 - his training and armor and time at home bill would immediately start a reduction in forces - I hope Reid and the rest realize this.
