1. Who can really see any other passengers you're flying with except people in your row?
What is really ironic is that a passenger that complained about these womens' attire probably watches FAUX News...where women dress much like those young women.

18. no kidding
It's not like there is a stripper pole she'd be dancing on at the front of the plane or something. Although, I wouldn't personally mind seeing her do that....

2. Check this out
The only thing overly sexy about this woman is that she is very "endowed." If she were thin, this dress would have been fine.

So now the rules are, if you have a sexy bod, cover it up! Geesh!

It would be a very cold day in hell before I'd fly SW airlines again. Now they're the "your boobs are too big for a vee neck" airline.

3. I couldn't see the latest video
because I don't want to download flash it screws up my computer. But I was wondering would it be ok if the women wore burkas. Oh no...then they would be taken for Muslims and that's not acceptable either. Should women just stop flying on South West Airline. That would fix em.

4. It would be nice to have one airline dedicated to screaming babies and freaky parents.
Then us adults - and kids who know how to behave - can have the others.

Or better yet, get the families with screaming toddlers and babies off the planes.

6. I have real trouble with someone who would complain to an airline about how another passenger was
dressed. As long as the other passenger is not breaking the law, I think the airline should tell the complainer that it is not their business.

Already we are getting to the place where we have to fit some mold in order to get a job or a loan or rent a house.

I am currently undergoing a background check to get a new job and the piece of paper I had to sign said that among other things they were going to investigate my life style, what ever that means.

I have lousy credit and I take anti depressants and anxiety medication. Will that disqualify me because of a judgment on my character?

Home of the brave, land of the free as long as you fit the mold.

8. I think the flight attendant should be reprimanded and an apology issued.
Kayla is dressed exactly like every other woman her age today. And quite a few women twice her age, as well. The flight attendant took too much liberty with the power he thought he had. That said, she did make it to her destination, made her appointment, and returned on the same airline wearing the exact same outfit with no further problems whatsover.

Call me a cynic, but I'm seeing a way for Kayla to do a little self-marketing. I understand her feeling humiliated by the display she was put through on the plane, but puh-leeze.

I'm also torn over it because we just plunked a lot of money down with Southwest for two tickets out west; the price has gone up substantially since we booked, and I'd take a beating if I tried to change 'em. Oh well. I'm pretty much supporting Kayla on this one. Up with Kayla's skirt! Uh, no, that didn't come out right...

:hi:

9. The pictures so far seem pretty tame to me, but I was on a recent SW flight to Vegas...
and I thought a couple of the passengers were dressed as if they were headed there in a "professional" capacity -- and could possibly line up some business on the way. I'm wondering if this might be what's really behind this attention to passenger attire.

33. This may sound off the wall...
But since the airline says it's merely responding to complaints by other passengers and wants to be a "family" airline, I'm wondering if there's not an organized campaign behind the scenes by some morals group like Focus on the Family or Concerned Women for America.

Remember when the brouhaha was about calls to the FCC regarding bad language on TV? These self-appointed "morals police" were behind that, too.

I question whether these cases are random. Just a thought....

10. Southwest wants to be a
"family"(as in values?) airline? Sounds like Bull airlines to me. I don't want to go with them because from what I see I would be uncomfortable with their gestapo tactics on others.

I'll just say "no"..I've changed my life about a few things since this whole buSHIT thing started..walmart for one. Only buy Blue and that came about from me before I even heard of BuyBlue. I'm not giving my money to corps who support buSHIT. Sorry, got off on tangent.

11. Problem with short dresses
I"m one of those that don't really care what is worn, is exposed, etc.

But I can see what there could be a complaint about dresses to short and flying. Everyone that has flown knows that it gets to be a tight squess. With people trying to put their stuff in the bins, get totheir seats, etc.

The shortest of these dresses barely cover. If the wearer bends over, she is winking at people. Aghm... IF it's a dress and she lifts her arms, it's a show. All fine and dandy if she is in a sitaution where she doesn't have to bend over or lift her arms. Everyone is standing, or if seated.. not seated where she is standing directly beside them..

If she got on a plane and had a window seat, she would have to pass directly infront of other passangers. It the front or the back is going to be in someones face. Some might not care what she wore, so long as it wasn't IN THEIR FACE. And if she ranked.. well.. that would make such a situation even worse.

I agree with the airlines on this one. Short skirts are not for flying.

I'm in the category of not giving a rat's ass what other people wear..I just need to know that what I wear makes the impression I want for myself.

Guess that's why I'm a progressive and not some fascist fashion freak.

14. OK, that's it--everybody gets issued a paper dress
like you get at the doctor's (but these would have to close securely--no flapping asses for everyone to see). No shoes, no carry ons, no nothing. Then all passengers get the largest dose of valium allowed by law (kids too). Then everybody can sit down, be mellow, and let the flight crew get on with the business of flying the aircraft.

This airline insanity is out of control.

17. Family Airline?
I my family to enter the house we are allow to keep our cloths on. The airlines want your shoes off, coat off, get the laptop out, rummage through your bags and might put everything back, turn your pants button over... pretty soon they'll be asking everyone to get a full body cavity search to reach the family airline.

36. So carry-ons have to have certain dimensions, and now...
All the airlines have those box thingys at check-in, and if your carry-on is too big, you have to check it. Now I guess they'll have the same thing for women, a box to put your boobs in, and if they're too big, you're not allowed to board, and another thingy to measure your skirt/dress length.
