I know why Bush won't end the war
In order to come home the troops must have a mission, an end game and an objective.
since no one knows why we invaded in the first place or what the objective is, and Bush and cheney won't tell, there can be no victory.
In war, you have a reason why and what you are to accomplish. these guys have none.
the reasons change all the time and everything is just murky. They are there risking their lives for some vague notion and really do not know the mission except for the one for that day. Not the overall.

1. It's a secret...and to bring them home they would have to tell everyone the secret.

5. I think that's it. He doesn't want to be a "failure". It's all about his insecurity and his
need to be a "big man".

It's really that simple.

When he was younger he was known for his "competitive" drive. I put that in quotes because it wasn't just that he played to win, he would make his opponent lose so that he could win. He was full of "dirty tricks".

He's one sick mother******.

4. He won't end it because when we do, it's a loss. It will end with either
a whimper or a bang, but it won't end with victory. As long as the war is ongoing, he's not losing. That's all there is to it.

9. Bush won't end the "war"..
.... because he'd rather play double or nothing with other people's money and lives than to admit that he's a fucking loser moron.

10. Well, shit. let's make up some super-secret trumped up
excuse, email it in, call it a victory and go home!

Bush is doing this for his legacy and for the money. Patriotism and national security have nothing to do with this.

11. For BushCo to out and lie to us...
...about the number of nations fighting along side our troops, only means one thing. He knows he has his dictatorship locked up. BushCo is now just trying to pacify us. The longer he keeps us all quiet the easier it is for him to continue to steal the good fortune of our nation. Once Americans wakes up and realize a coup was staged and America was handed over to corporate leaders, maybe then we’ll stage a revolution.
