Thank You, Hillary Supporters
With sound reasoning backed by facts, you have reinforced my belief in this woman in my short time at DU. She has been the victim of attacks from both left and right for over 10 years. I see through these even more now.

Her nomination is virtually inevitable. I can hardly wait to hear "Madam President"!

1. Hillary is Bush-Lite
Hillary is the candidate the Repukes most want to face. They know they can eaisly destroy her. She is Bush-Lite. Big business suck-ass no questions asked. Not an ounce of difference between her and *W* .

"Not one ounce of difference between her and *W*" ...... please enlighten me with the lies and death Hillary has caused in 6 years as opposed to Bush? Not one ounce of difference .... huh? Surely you can do better than that? :eyes:

12. See I knew there was a difference right off the bat !
Knew it was something insignificant. :sarcasm: ......

Not that anyone cares of my opinion but think I'll stop by quite a few DU threads in the future where someone attacks ANY of our possible Democratic candidates like this in the future .... till we have a nominee ...... In the end we have to and WILL come together on someone to distinguish us from the republic party platform and their BUSH LIKE (NOT LITE) CANDIDATE. Peace. ;) ....

7. Not an ounce? I disagree and I have not been a fan!
She is for a lot of things that W is totally against but she is a member of the DLC.
That makes her republican lite and her total refusal for a long time (18 months) to
denounce her vote on the IWR. But she's coming around. Even Code Pink has stopped
demonstrating her.... for now. ;)

She is not just like W at all. Read up more. Get the facts yourself.

Go here http://www.vote-smart.org/index.htm">Project Vote Smart and read what she is for and check out her voting record.

Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton

http://www.vote-smart.org/npat.php?can_id=55463

REPEATEDLY REFUSED TO PROVIDE ANY RESPONSES TO CITIZENS
ON ISSUES THROUGH THE 2006 NATIONAL POLITICAL AWARENESS
TEST WHEN ASKED TO DO SO BY

Key national leaders of both major parties including:
John McCain, Republican Senator
Geraldine Ferraro, Former Democratic Congresswoman
Michael Dukakis, Former Democratic Governor
Bill Frenzel, Former Republican Congressman
Richard Kimball, Project Vote Smart President

Over 100 news organizations throughout the nation also urged their candidates
to supply their issue positions through the National Political Awareness Test.

See? She is still refusing to answer voters questions by filling out the NPAT!

That's the kind of stuff she does that I find insulting!!

But go compare. You'll see.

20. This is not true.
she weighs at least 40 lbs. less than Bush. When she supports wars and pro-corporate polices, she uses the English language like someone who graduated college.

and the reason the repukes like her is because she will carry on the pro-corporate, pro-war policies that have been in place for decades in this country.

34. Our corporate owned media is making us believe that "Hillary's the one".
The neo-cons who gave us Bush are stacking the deck. No mater who wins in '08, corporate America will win.

14. Get behind her if she is?
Well of course Democrats will vote for their nominee. I guarantee that 99 percent of DUers will vote for her. The question is, "How many will actively campaign for her?"

I'm going to guess not many. She is polarizing even in the Democratic Party. It seems that one either loves her and thinks she is the next best thing to a liberal messiah or she is owned by the DLC and corporate America.

I'll vote for her, but I'm not excited by her nor see myself becoming excited by her.

Edited on Fri Sep-14-07 10:18 PM by Raster
But believe me, I see your point and feel your pain. The one person whom I refuse to accept any bullshit excuse for Iraq from is HRC. She is one half of the Big Dog. She has had access to information and intelligence not normally available to the "average" Congresscritter (LOVE that word). For HRC, ignorance, at least when it comes to Iraq, is NOT an option. And if the truth were told, I doubt ANYONE in Congress actually believed the lies and bullshit from cheney*/bush* about Iraq. I think Congress went along with it for various reasons, but ultimately, they all knew Saddam and Iraq were toast. Pissypants and Darth cheney* were going to rape, plunder, pillage and kill come hell or high water. on edit: The illegal and immoral invasion of Iraq was a given as soon as the SCOTUS helped steal 2000.

21. Please, sir Can't we vote first?
When she is the nominee, then you can ask people to get behind her. I hope that other parts of the party do so better than the Begala/Craville I'm going to whine until 2004 is over people did in 2004 or the greenies did in 2002.

But, not a single vote has been cast and who knows what will happen in the next several months.

You have a choice as do all the voters!

Vote in the primaries and check out all the candidates.

The MSM (RW TOOLS) have been promoting HRC before any voters said a word!!

Don't just 'go with the flow'! CHOOSE the best one for the job!!

Choose the candidate that speaks for all the people!

Not just for the rich and the corporations!

That's your right and your duty as a citizen!

I'm an avid Hillary supporter, and on many occasions, I've signed onto DU and signed right back off
simply because of the unnecessary venom that is being spewed.....as far as the democratic candidates
go, I believe they're all highly qualified, and they make me very proud, however, I'm supporting HRC at this time, and see no reason to attack the other candidates. :dem:
