Bill Moyers Journal

Today is Friday Sept 14

9/11: For the Record

Bill Moyers

Six years after the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, a critical question continues to haunt America's national psyche:
how could the most powerful nation on earth have been so utterly unprepared to protect its homeland?
This one-hour analysis of the 9/11 Commission Report, first broadcast in 2004, connects the dots of
what happened that fateful day and the warning signs leading up to it. The program highlights the
agonizing close calls, missteps, and outright failures of two successive administrations and
America's intelligence and security agencies in the months and years leading up to that day.

The show is pointing out what went wrong on 9-11.

5. I wonder if any Reps will use this to argue for cutting funding for PBS.

3. it made me
weep-

The family who met Dad at the plane-
and the little guy who ran up throwing his arms around the legs of his dad's friend.

.....

And the dad who said he'd like to ask the politicians which one of their children they'd choose to sacrifice on the "pyre"....

it's something everyone should watch.
