O'Reilly Factor: Mass Murder… Six Years Later (9/12/07) by Bill O'Reilly
Fearing that "young Muslim men" who see Brian DePalma'a new film about "American soldiers raping an Iraqi woman and killing innocent civilians" might get the impression that the occupation of Iraq has been brutal and/or violent, O'Reilly "spotlights" a clip of the director calling Redacted "an attempt to bring the reality of what's happening in Iraq to the American people." In reaction, Fox's star bloviator once again conjures a shameful episode in U.S. history to justify his own censorious impulses:During World War II, President Roosevelt, the liberal icon, would have put DePalma in prison. Mr. Roosevelt well understood the danger U.S. forces faced in battled, the same exact danger they are confronting right now.

Of his film's real-life source images—already very available to many of O'Reilly's feared "Muslim men"—DePalma told Editor & Publisher "it's all out there on the Internet, you can find it if you look for it, but it's not in the major media. The media is now really part of the corporate establishment."
