Why I think Bush nominated Michael Mukasey

The Democrats stated that they wouldn't accept any nomination until they get the information they are looking for. Fine.
So Bush nominates someone that the Democrats will readily accept.
Now when we DON'T want to accept the nomination until we get the previously subpoenaed information, the Republicans will start talking about the obstructive Democrats and the MSM won't report that it is ONLY because they want information, they will just say that Democrats are obstructionists.
He wasn't afraid of a nomination. It is just another powerplay.

what little control he ever had in the White House. I doubt the little shit ever heard of this guy before Schumer brought his name up.

See! Democrats now do have some say in how things are being run-- for a Democratic Senator to essentially dictate to the President who his AG is going to be shows some serious stones.

The rest of it is just Washington theater. Don't worry about it-- sound and fury signifying nothing.
