Recently caught this one. Wow, I'm so disappointed in the quality of their arguments and intellect that I felt the need to post it here. They are both idiots--all talking points, no substance at all.

What really ticks me off about guys like this is they can (and have) been wrong about everything important for 5 years and still be beloved by naive readers of their magazines and paid ridiculous amounts to speak and write derivative shallow books.

America has got to do a better job of integrating our university life (considered the finest in the world) and its many-sided inquiry into socio-political matters into the discourse of the talking heads--at least those talking heads that actually are read in Washington, like these 2 are. Just how much bad history and analysis to do we have be subjected to before intellectuals of conscience rise up and denounce them as war propagandists? Oh I forgot, Beinart has come around to whatever Hillary's position is now. He sees the error of his ways, and is prepared to accept 50K from you to let him speak about why his belief that Bush is Woodrow Wilson reborn was naive.

These 2 are like Hannity and Colmes for magazine readers. Beinart comes across as unsure of himself and craving manly affection besides Jonah's assertive everyman male pose, against those "radical alternative" types. Somebody has to cartoon-spoof these 2 pronto.
