18. You don't get it. They chip away at our rights until we no longer have any at all.

Asking to see someones receipt is akin to asking them outright if they stole something. Legally they have to WITNESS or HAVE A WITNESS to the crime to bring charges, so this way they can cover their own asses while they humiliate you.

How about if you went to a friends house and they asked to check your bag before you left? Wouldn't you feel violated and that that friend wasn't such a good friend? It's all the same-a violation of privacy and rights granted by the Constitution upon which this country was founded.
