I think it bears repeating...
There's only one way for the Democrats to avoid being called "cowards..." Either here, or by their adversaries and their pet pundits.

Ever misstatement, every insult, every lie, needs to be mentioned every time a Democrat is in front of the camera. No more silence following the assaults of the Right Wing.

I've been saying it for a long time. Take the gloves off. This is a fight, and the difference between the Republicans and the Democrats in this is that the Republicans know how to fight. They know how to keep hitting an opponent until their adversary goes down.

This circular firing squad shit has to end. Someone shoots an arrow at the Republicans, the Republicans squeal in fury and pain, and their mouthpieces start up. And then a Democrat chimes in...not to point out ANOTHER Republican foible (to use a very polite euphemism ), which would be a perfect thing to do at that point...but to criticize the Democrat who said the FIRST thing.

Take off the gloves! Just do it. Forget about one another. Go after the Republicans. They're about as popular as skunks in the pantry about now--what the hell have you got to lose? Afraid of charges of mud-slinging? As splattered as YOU are? Forget it. Hit 'em where it hurts. Every time. Every time someone shoves a microphone your direction and asks you about a Democrat, HIT A REPUBLICAN. Every time.

You're politicians, for chrissakes, you KNOW how to change the subject. So do it.

Every time.

If they try to pin you, just say, "I'm not going to comment on another Democrat, but Jim Dipshit, the Republican Senator from Cattlestomp, said... I'd really like to know what he meant by that."

Just a thought.

1. I agree
and people here on DU should stop expending so much energy trashing Democrats.

I swear, people have ten times the loyalty to their favorite sports team than they do to their party.

2. I think the whole spiness dem meme is a bunch of bs.
They are just actors on the stage of a tragic drama. All playing their part. Just look at the quotes from Steny today.

Makes. No. Fucking. Sense.
