I think you still have to like Richardson he has the strongest platform. He might not be totally enlightened when it comes to gay issues but he clearly isn't hateful or about discrimination. I don't feel he'll get the nomination but he's definitely seceretary of state material. As well as great intellect he has a very down to earth sense of humour. Check out this clip to see what I mean.

1. I agree with you and actually see him as very good VP material
And in the back of my mind there is the growing hispanic vote and his ability to attract it.

2. I would still like HIM to explain why he blocked a recount in NM in 2004,
when there was clearly "funny business" going on with the NM vote.

Greg Palast:
New Mexico’s Secretary of State, Rebecca Vigil-Giron, seemed curiously uncurious about Hispanic and Native precincts where nearly one in ten voters couldn’t be bothered to choose a president.

Vigil-Giron, along with Governor Bill Richardson, not only stopped any attempt at a recount directly following the election, but demanded that all the machines be wiped clean. This not only concealed evidence of potential fraud but destroyed it. In 2006, New Mexico’s Supreme Court ruled the Secretary of State’s machine-cleaning job illegal — too late to change the outcome of the election, of course.

3. You think I still have to like him??
And that he has the strongest platform??

I'm not sure I like him one bit.

Why do you have your profile disabled?

Why do you have an aol link?

5. Relax a bit. Iam probably judging him on a superficial level and I wasn't saying anyone had to like.
... him. He just does have a good reputation and did wonders for new mexico he could translate that nationally if he got the nomination. It most likely won't but I think he can deliver the goods.

4. I like Richardson too, He's got the credentials and wherewithall

but he just doesn't present himself as Presidential as others. He really needs to pull a Clinton in NH.

6. Yeah, I think it's that he's kinda humble but to get noticed he needs to assert more, I find him....
...intresting. He's one candidate that does convey his message clearly and concisely.
