I used to think I knew right from wrong - I thought so -
Edited on Wed Sep-19-07 10:41 PM by Joe for Clark
For better than 200 years of our history - I thought so.

I still do - last few years or not.

Better or worse - we probably are the last best hope of civilization - in the western sense.

Take that away from us in our dead cold hands - if you dare.

Maybe we approach some day of reckoning - maybe.

When that day happens - we stand with all those who came before us - and we shout into eternity - Fu - k you - we are the United states!! You go to hell.

Joe

1. Bravo Joe....the truth...is a dagger in their beady hearts..
They have stolen from us what is rightly ours.....

They spit on the Constitution because they truely do not understand what that "Piece of Paper" really means....

I wonder in other civiliations when they realized it was time for a change....did their civilization come to the brink? Was there a catalyst?

Standing by your side Joe....

7. *snicker*. It's very much your country.
I'm not going to respond any further because I don't accept the basic premise of your post. The US didn't save anything in 1945 and has exploited the event in the intervening 60 years to steal, rape and murder anyone who stands in the way of "American Interests".

8. Really??
Rape, murder and steal - what do you know of war??

I know a lot - enough to respect those people - so much.

Been to the funerals of people who died and got recovered in buckets -

Afraid to god of those things that happened - those were OUR guys.

You know THE PEOPLE THAT SAVED THE WORLD - and I know they did that.

I don't forget. I will love those guys til the day I die - I KNOW what they gave up.

Joe

9. I don't live in your country so why would I describe it as mine?
You do make a valid point. It is important to remember and acknowledge those who gave their lives.

It's also important to acknowledge those whose lives were taken from them. The millions of people around the world who have suffered and died as a result of US foreign policy. Millions who were murdered so US corporations could exploit their economy, for profit.

10. I willl never excuse profits for life.
Years ago the country made a decision to bypass death camps to end a war.

How may people died for that decision?? Some of my family died cause of that decision .I just don't underatnd - I agee they made the right call.

There was a time when cooler heads ran oil corps - I know. I remember that time.

Now deals are made with the devil. How did it come to this???

It has come ot this. And they can go to hell.
Joe
