When does the "Swiftboating"...

of Fred Thompson start? Is there some kind of strategic timeline that I fail to see?

Doesn't the guy have a medical problem that could keep him from serving? No skeletons in his closet?

Maybe the Dem powers that be are waiting to see if he gets the nomination, but why not crush the Freeper hopes aborning?

Any ideas?

He's been married more than once, he's part of the hollywood crowd, and has a hot young wife currently.

I think that right now the Dem powers that be probably are using their powers to support the Democrat Candidate they've selected and attack the Democrat Candidates they haven't selected.

... and I meant "swiftboating". All the truthful stuff, and also all the sordid, bullshit stuff. Let 'em have it! How about taking some of those FW-blast emails we've seen about Clinton or Obama and just change the names?

Surely he's got a dead hooker or a live boy somewhere in his closet. If not, somebody needs to invent one.... or both.
