Everyone gets about a minute to answer questions, so they talk in soundbites, never truly tackle the issues, and bore us to death. I wish our debates were more like that live debate on the West wing a few years ago.

I am going to keep on switching back and forth. I want to hear Dennis too.

btw...I'm walking in a parade on Saturday in Des Moines with other Edwards supporters. I heard today that Obama will be walking in the same parade. Is there anything you'd like me to say?!!!

Some good ideas to help caregivers---respite care help mentioned by Clinton, Dodd, and Biden.

All one color often doesn't work, but this beigy/yellow ensemble looks good on her. The sort of pocket-square ruffle is a nice touch. I'd say the color helps her to look, to my eyes, more relaxed than tired.

I wish she'd be bolder with her hair -- she does "embiggen" and pompadour it, which is a wise choice to seem substantial, presidential, powerful. But she shrinks from the embiggenned, pompadour legacy by "modernizing" it -- not TOO structured, not TOO neat, not TOO structural.

I wish she'd go all out and do a Margaret Thatcher do. She had that for maybe a few weeks as First Lady, it looked great on her. It would give her some real age-appropriate glamor, make her even more regal, and also highlight her professionalism and exactitude.

With a smarmy little wink at the end. Add condescension to his compendium of faults.

but I don't think it would be boos. It wouldn't make sense from this crowd.

We don't usually boo union issues. Especially a comment on pensions that unions provide workers.

Dodd blames bankers and brokers, federal reserve banks---did not show oversight.
Edwards---national preditory lender law---cap of 36%; need home rescue fund

I think it flows better than some previous ones.

Clinton:No, but take away subsidies from oil companies and put it toward alternative fuel
Dodd is for it.

Clinton and Edwards want to modify it.

Biden: depends.
Edwards: 50,000 troops out immediately, then more over time.
Richardson: 0 Can't have political settlement without getting out
Clinton: Can't answer question because we don't know what we are going to inherit. She would want advisement and then come up with a plan. Will get them out as responsibly as possible.
Dodd: We shouldn't have to wait that long to end the war.

Edwards: Trust has been destroyed, must restore it.
Dodd: We need leadership to get results.
Biden: Iraq casualties. How many more "fallen angels" before we end war? Next President needs to end it without chaos.
Clinton: She will end war. Need to rebuild middle class and claim future for children. We'll have difficult challenges. (She gets big cheers)
Richardson: FDR's death anecdote.

She knows how to close strong in the last :30 seconds of a round.
