Tropical Storm/Weak Hurricane

to zip through South Mississippi and South Louisiana this weekend.

we about 50 miles east of the eight PM Saturday dot. We could use the moisture and hopefully it will not get violent.

5. You are right

the pit of my stomach gets real squishy when I hear the "H" word. Gonna do some battening down this afternoon. If the prognosticators are correct we should be okay, maybe not so those south of us. It hasn't take much for both Louisiana and Mississippi to go to general quarters on this one. Hopefully a good text exercise.

Is this the modular, or has Anton finally come through? Either way, how happy are you that something permanent has begun?

I hope this storm fizzles, too, though I'm glad to see the current forecast models only have it as a tropical storm, not turning into a hurricane. Still, 79 mph winds will be ugly in a trailer. Are you taking the dogs and going to your brother's for the weekend? (I hope, I hope....)
