"They could have capped her" - CNN Anchorman RE: Tasering
I really could not believe my eyes or ears. CNN just showed the woman getting tasered in Ohio again, and whoever this dufus was, his first name is Rob, he goes "Well, it could have been worse, they coulda capped her!" and made the gangster pose with the his hand held sideways in a gun fashion. His cohost looked absolutely stunned that he said that.

Firing off a complaint to CNN right now, I urge everyone to write in. IMHO he needs to be fired.

8. I don't think so.
Just incredibly unprofessional behavior from a so-called journalist.

Or do we even consider these pretty newsreaders journalists anymore?

I don't. They are more like performance artists.

10. Your correct, news readers are performance artists.
But this is celebrity crazed country...which means whatever falls from their lips is given more credibility than it deserves without inspection.

14. That's Chad Myers
Myers is the fellow everyone made fun of when he threw a fit because Carol Costello wouldn't take his weather report seriously. Then, funny thing. What Chad was trying to make clear was the severity of a certain tropical storm headed towards the gulf coast...

Carol Costello should be ashamed but I doubt it.

7. I was shocked by his comments, too.
Seeing this women tazered repeatedly was absolutely sickening- especially after she had already been handcuffed. I cannot believe the cop is on "paid" leave.

We need the cardiologists around the country to speak out about the potential dangers of being stunned with this kind of electrical jolt.

9. Tazers scare the H_ _ _ out of me. Police scare me and I get
easily riled by their methods. I have one medicine I take for persistent tachycardia....what would happen if I was considered "unruly" and was tazered? I don't think anyone can answer that.

12. there`s a real good chance you would be dead
tazering people who are in a hyperactive state or have high heart rates is the same as shooting to kill.

13. I take medicine (a beta blocker) to keep it at about 75bpm but.....
if I really need more heart rate (strenuous task) like 150, I can't....I push it a lot and probably shouldn't but I've got things to do! However, a cop and a tazer would probably kill me...from pure fright if not the tazer itself!
