On 60 Minutes he is interrogating, not to be confused with an interview with President Ahmadinejad . He asks " There is NO DOUBT that Iran is supplying weapons that KILL americans"!!! Confrmed by whom Scott?? The US Military??

4. There is also no doubt that American weapons are killing Iraqis
Why no outrage about that?

About displacing four million Iraqis.

About mercenaries shooting up public squares for sport.

Dropping bombs on civilians.

Stealing their oil.

He's okey dokey with all that, I presume

46. I couldn't believe he asked that question.
"What do you admire about President Bush?"

What are we playing a round of stump the chump? If ever there was a trick question that's it.

Here's how I wish he'd answered that, "I admire the way he has the American media eating his shit with a spoon."

13. Sarcasm
But it's so obvious that the US media is owned, heavily influenced and controlled by Muslim - Americans.
:sarcasm:

That's why the US media stepped aside and allowed George Bush to concoct a war based upon his neocon rationale.

I had to see what was up on DU. The framing really sucks. I cannot believe how the MS infotainment frames their questions. Iran is not stupid no matter what they try to tell us. Why is it they are one of the few nations that almost totally cooperates with the IAEA???? We barely cooperate with them but they totally cooperate??!!?? If they were really building nuclear weapons the IAEA would know. I trust them way above anything *shrub says!

I do usually watch that show, but as I told them, they should be ashamed of what they had Scott Pelly do tonight. I think from now on, I'm going to tume in to the last 10 minutes to listen to Andy Rooney. He may be an old curmudgeon, but I like him, and he still has integrity!

39. I have never seen a journalist accuse the person he is interviewing and then ask for confirmation.
Pelly should be fucking fired immediately. Instead of journalism, he was practicing for some military interrogation job. Pelly would accuse the person being interviewed, and then his question would ask for confirmation of that accusation. Then he would insist that the person being interviewed answer yes or no to his question.

41. Bad Interview, but Pelly got served with one response
Never seen an interviewer disrespect a guest on his show like that before, he seemed so rude especially while trying to press the president for a yes or no answer. Yet, Ahmadinejad kept cool and replied "this isn't Guantanamo Bay or Abu Ghuraib, this is Iran and I'm the president" - meaning that why should he be forced to answer in a certain way? He's free to answer the way he likes, otherwise what's the point of the interview? That response probably made Pelly feel like a jerk, and he should be.

I could only stomach about 5 minutes, if that, of the interview. Pelley complains that Ahmadinejad would never answer with direct answers. It just felt to me like Pelley wouldn't be satisfied no matter what the answer was. Why do they not hold Bush to the same standard. He hasn't given a direct answer in at least 7 years.

I mean it was so downright BLATANT. The President spoke clearly & told him he would not pursue nukes. Then Pelly states at the end he never answered the question. WTF???
